ERP Christmas Cracker

The ERP Christmas Cracker is a charity run that takes place this year on Sunday the 31st of December at 11.00am. This is the third year this event is running and each year it gets bigger and better. The event is open to runners, joggers and walkers and is very family friendly.

The event is in aid of ALONE, a charity that supports older people to age at home. ALONE provides supportive housing, befriending, community support and campaigning services to hundreds of older people every week. The homeless, socially isolated, living in deprivation or in crisis are provided support by ALONE. The charity have teamed up with Clonliffe Harriers Athletic Club to host this year’s event. The race will begin and end in Morton Stadium Santry, with the route encompassing Northwood and Santry Avenue.

The European Recycling Platform supports the charity run. Their mission is to develop high-quality, cost-effective recycling services for the benefit of producer members, consumers and ultimately the environment and society. To win spot prizes, simply bring along anything that can be recycled (electrical appliances or used batteries). The draw will take place directly after the 5k, while refreshments will also be available.
