Covid-19 Update 28th January 2021
Hi EveryoneJanuary 26th brought the latest guidance from the government regarding restrictions. We remain at level 5 until March 5th. For us at Ballsbridge Physiotherapy that means the following:
We are open for one-to-one consultations
We have enhanced our safety protocols:
We ask you not to attend the clinic if you have any symptoms associated with Covid 19 even if you feel it is just a head-cold or sinusitis. If you have these symptoms, we request you report them to your GP and follow their advice.
We ask that you only enter the premises 5 minutes before your appointment. This is to helps us minimise contact between staff and patients.
On entering you will be asked to replace your cloth mask with a medical grade mask.
Staff are in scrubs, aprons, masks, and goggles to protect you and themselves.
We have stringent sanitising protocols in place.
As we are operating at reduced staffing levels you may not be able to get an immediate appointment. However, we are operating a waiting list and given the high levels of Covid 19 testing being carried out at the moment, we find we have availability most days. To maintain flexibility in the system we have suspended our online booking option for the moment. Please contact us to set up an appointment.
Classes continue online
Pilates and Stronger for Longer classes are online on a reduced timetable.
Many of you would prefer to attend in person. However, realistically given the space available in the clinic this service will be online for some time.
Virtual consultations
The clinic continues to offer virtual consultations for those who cannot attend in person.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those in our community, patients, GPs, consultants, neighbours, suppliers, and colleagues upstairs in Ballsbridge Dental, who have continued to support us since last March. We endeavour to continue to provide a high standard of care in a safe manner during these challenging times. If you have any queries don’t hesitate to get in touch.Thank you,Aileen MaGuire BScPhysio MISCPClinic Director
