Long-Standing Groin Pain – What Can Be Done?
Groin pain is a common injury in sports involving fast changes of direction and kicking. High levels of groin injuries would be seen in GAA players and rugby players. Often groin pain can come on gradually. You may notice some stiffness or tightness in the groin, especially after training. This may progress to stiffness during activity with a loss of speed with sprinting and a loss of distance and accuracy with kicking.
